Great Quick Bite at Union Station! This is a fantastic spot for a quick and delicious meal inside Union Station. What I love most about this place is how fast the service is--perfect for travelers on the go! My parents were visiting me in LA, and before they headed home, I wanted to make sure they had one last great meal. This spot did not disappoint! The only thing that caught me off guard was the birria taco--it didn't come with the Juice ... the sauce, which is a must for me I mean it's a must for birria tacos right ?!? Next time, I'll be sure to request it if its possible because that's my only small complaint. Other than that, everything was amazing! While the pricing could be better, it's pretty standard for a location like this. The restaurant itself was surprisingly quiet and had a cozy atmosphere, despite being just steps away from the hustle and bustle of the station. Once you're inside, you completely forget about the noise outside. Overall, a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal--I'll definitely choose this place if I ever catch the train .

Excellent lunch. I cannot for the life of me wonder why some people have been leaving bad reviews. I can only imagine they're deeply unhappy in their lives. I had the trax burger and added fries for a reasonable additional charge. It was superb. Cooked to perfection and the bun to sauce ratio was good so the burger didn't collapse. No charge for a club soda with cranberry. Fast service and very clean.

2/5/2025 - After missing the train at 3:13 PM at LA Union Station, I decided to have a light bite here prior to boarding the next available train at 4:30 PM. The salad is fresh, crispy and tasty. This is the first time I find refilling ice tea policy is only allowed once. The TRAXX Bar & Restaurant opened in 1997, but was closed during the pandemic. Now, it is opened again. Most patrons here are either train or subway riders because three is no free parking onsite. It offers a Happy Hour from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A nice option if you need something at the train station. Food was good although not necessarily anything stand out worthy. Service was professional but slow. It seemed to take a long time to find someone to get the check.Otherwise, a pleasant, relaxing experience.

High end American grill classics at a reasonable price served INSIDE Union Station? Yes please! This place is a must visit if you are in DTLA or happen to be in Union Station... it is a very unique experience. I really enjoyed the 'patio' seats where you could people-watch while you wait for your food, there's never a dull moment in the station. While service was a bit slow (it wasn't busy), it was worth the wait, the food was delicious! My son had the fried chicken sandwich, and I had the angus burger. The fries were amazing, thin, crispy, and lightly seasoned... the whole lunch was delightful and really capped off our visit to the station.

Our big group sat outside, and it was my first time trying out this restaurant. The weather mostly felt nice and just a tad chilly at times. We had the grilled cheese & tomato soup, Traxx burger, chicken panini, veggie burger, and hummus. I ordered the grilled cheese & tomato soup ($16) which also came with a free salad. Including my share of tax and tip, I paid $20.40 for my meal. I liked dipping the sandwich in the tomato soup. It reminded me well of comfort food, and I felt full afterward. The tomato soup's texture leans more on the thinner side. The menu didn't say that the grilled cheese & tomato soup comes with a free salad, but our server let us know when someone ordered it. I initially wanted the chicken panini but switched at the last minute. Regarding the dining experience, I had the impression that our server got surprised that we had ten people in our party. I felt neutral toward the customer service here because the server didn't feel welcoming to us. Regardless, the restaurant accommodated all our requests.

This was a great experience for me. The perfect escape from the beautiful chaos happening in Union Station. Service was fantastic and the food was great. Stopped in before catching a train. Will definitely be keeping Traxx in mind for future commutes. Calamari was a huge surprise. A lot better than I expected. Crispy and plentiful. Birria Tacos were also pretty good and the perfect snack before resuming my travels.

Before taking the Amtrak to Santa Barbara, I came early to Union Station to explore this gorgeous building and take time to have lunch. I was super happy to see they had a great sit down option at Traxx right past the entrance of the station They had a private event happening on their patio so I opted to sit on their interior patio which offered great AC and people watching seating I went with their popular grilled cheese and vegan tomato soup combo. It hit the spot! The soup doesn't have a traditional creamy base and was a bit light on seasoning...so I added a few dashes of Tapatio which boosted the flavor a couple notches The ambiance was great and staff was super friendly. Shoutout to James who was awesome Will come back to try more of their delicious menu items on my next trip from Union Station
